moved Amendment No. 143:
143: After Clause 22, insert the following new Clause—
““Pensions Advisory Service
The Pensions Advisory Service shall continue to be.””
The noble Baroness said: As I have said on a number of occasions, I am a member of the board of the Pensions Advisory Service as is my noble friend Lady Hollis. The function of this amendment was originally to include a reference to TPAS and its service. However, since tabling the amendment, I understand that the issue has been discussed in the other place. As a result, TPAS has received assurances that it will be referred to in supplementary legislation and is quite happy with that. I would be grateful if my noble friend the Minister could confirm that that is so, because if it is, it is my intention to withdraw the amendment at this stage. I beg to move.
