I shall say two things. First, I will go back to the point that this is a non-executive board composed of people with experience in other fields, who have a certain independence and who are not in the business of doing anything other than what the Government's intend the board should do. Secondly, all the board’s functions are statistical; anything it does must be in line with that basic premise. There is little for the noble Baroness to worry about.
