Serious Crime Bill [HL]

had given notice of his intention to move, as an amendment to Amendment No. 101, Amendment No. 101A: 101A: Schedule 6, line 2, leave out ““to identify”” and insert ““for the purposes of identifying— (a)”” The noble Lord said: My Lords, I am grateful to the Minister. The purpose of the amendment, which was suggested by Liberty, was to tease out as much information from the Minister as possible. It is a probing amendment and we are satisfied with the explanation that the Minister has offered. In light of that, we do not intend to move the amendment. [Amendments Nos. 101A to 101C, as amendments to Amendment No. 101, not moved.]
