Police and Justice Bill

I have listened with great interest to what the noble and learned Lord the Attorney-General has said and will read it with great interest in Hansard, because I am not sure that I entirely agree with his remarks or that he has taken fully on board what we have to achieve in this amendment. That is very presumptuous of me. I too look forward to further discussion, because a great deal more discussion is appropriate, proportionate and definitely desirable.
