Children and Adoption Bill [Lords]

With this it will be convenient to discuss the following amendments: No. 2, in clause 9, page 13, line 21, leave out subsection (3) and insert— No. 1, in page 13, line 29, at end insert— ‘(c) the central authority in the country or territory to which restrictions are to apply.'. No. 22, in page 13, line 33, at end insert ‘to include regular reviews on why that declaration should still apply'. No. 4, in page 13, line 38, at end insert— ‘(9A) The Secretary of State must establish an appeals procedure to consider appeals against the decision to impose special restrictions on adoptions from abroad.'. No. 23, in clause 10, page 14, line 17, at end insert ‘, and (c) prescribed organisations involved in adoption.'.
