I am disappointed that the Minister did not rise to the bait about the £2.2 billion that the Treasury forfeits every year. That is a vast amount of money, and I hoped that the amendment might have highlighted to his Treasury colleagues this very serious problem, about which the entire tobacco industry is extremely concerned. In the hope that the Minister will take the matter back to his Treasury colleagues, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
