I join the previous two speakers in endorsing the valour and hard work of the Northern Ireland fire service, particularly during the heart of the Troubles. The firefighters are the unsung heroes of Northern Ireland, and a lot of people owe their lives to their quick reaction. Many people in Northern Ireland think that the way firefighters are sometimes treated by the public, in some very small but nevertheless important instances, is disgusting. I thank the Minister for outlining the provisions of the order, which has our full support.
