Oh yes. I shall introduce you to some of those people if you like. I am pleased to say that we have said very firmly that those people are excellent candidates and we are nominating them. If, because of anti-women prejudice, they do not get elected, we will try again in future.
However, more to the point, I have a real sense of déjà vu about this debate. I remember that back in 1961—which will be too far back for the noble Baroness to remember—the National League of Young Liberals launched a campaign entitled, ““Votes at 18””. Eventually—in fact, not very long after; I think that it was in 1968 or thereabouts—the Harold Wilson Government introduced votes at 18.
