I hope that this is the equivalent of asking a question on the Motion that the Committee be resumed. We had an announcement yesterday that there are to be government amendments to this Bill, changing proceedings from a standard Moses Room technical debate into something which is politically highly charged. My noble friend Lord Strathclyde has asked whether the Bill is to be recommitted to allow a proper discussion. I suggest that it should be dealt with on the Floor of the House, but certainly the amendments need to be considered in a Committee stage. No answer was given to my noble friend at the time and I would be grateful for a response now saying whether that is what is to be proposed.
