: I am sure that the hon. Gentleman has read the welfare reform Green Paper carefully, but may I draw his attention to chapter 7? We say there:"““The reforms set out in this Green Paper will reduce much of the complexity surrounding existing benefits for those facing health problems and disability. We consider that there may be advantages in moving in the longer term towards a single system of benefits for all people of working age, with appropriate additions for those who have caring responsibilities and those with a long-term illness or disability.””"
I assume from the hon. Gentleman's comments that he supports that long-term aim.
