Antisocial Behaviour

Proceeding contribution from Lord Garnier (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 19 January 2006. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Antisocial Behaviour.
Has my hon. Friend heard of the example of a brewer in the west country who has decided unilaterally not to supply bars, restaurants and other outlets that have a history of antisocial behaviour connected to them? The brewer has said simply that he will not supply them with beer. That is already having a marked effect on the owners of those restaurants and bars, who are taking a more proactive stance to control their customers.
