My Lords, I thank the noble Lord for his reply, and the noble Baroness, Lady Morris of Bolton, for her cautious support. I am grateful to the Government for saying that they will go away and look at this matter, but it is a pity that we cannot sort it out in your Lordships’ House. However, that may be due to the fact that today’s proceedings have been brought forward to fill a gap in business, which means that we have all been rushing around in the past five days to try to sort ourselves out. But I am most reassured by the Minister’s reassurance and I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
