The noble Baroness said: In moving Amendment No. 83 I shall speak to Amendment No. 83A, which is linked closely to Amendment No. 84 tabled by the noble Lord, Lord Williams of Elvel. I shall wait to hear what the noble Lord has to say before I make any comment on his amendment.
As I indicated earlier, taking a case to the High Court is extremely expensive. Our amendment would allow a person to make an application to a county court if he or she felt that there was adequate proof to demonstrate that an entry made in the register was the result of fraud.
