I am extremely grateful to the Minister for addressing so fully each of the three amendments. The Minister is quite right, and obviously this issue was brought to my attention by the National Trust itself. Certainly his words will need to be read carefully not only by those present in the Grand Committee, but also those further afield.
I understand the noble Lord’s comments at the close of his remarks when he said that the National Trust should be constrained in this way no more than any body. But his answer has been so full that, apart from thanking him, at this stage I cannot comment further. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
Clause 16, as amended, agreed to.
