NHS Redress Bill [HL]

Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 21 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on NHS Redress Bill [HL].
This has been a useful short debate, to which the two noble Baronesses on the Liberal Democrat Benches have contributed handsomely, and I am grateful to them, as I am to the Minister for his helpful reply, which we shall want to go away and study with care. We look forward to receiving further and better particulars from him in due course. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Clause 1 agreed to. Clause 2 [Application of scheme]: [Amendment No. 6 not moved.] On Question, Whether Clause 2 shall stand part of the Bill?
