NHS Redress Bill [HL]

I shall add another question to the bombardment that the Minister is suffering so gracefully. The Government have only themselves to blame in that the health service is now so incredibly complicated, with so many cross-threads between different areas. At one time, there were just hospitals, community services and GPs. Now, the distinction between them has been blurred so much that we do not really know where we are going. The Minister has made the position of GPs very clear—they have independent insurance and therefore deal with their own complaints, but what about salaried GPs, of which there are a number now? Will they also be covered by the Bill, or is that yet another thing that we have not thought about?
