NHS Redress Bill [HL]

Proceeding contribution from Earl Howe (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Monday, 21 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on NHS Redress Bill [HL].
I am grateful to the noble Baroness, Lady Barker, for raising that point, which I confess had not occurred to me. It is pertinent. I thank the Minister for his reply, which is much as I anticipated. He thoughtfully drew to the Grand Committee’s attention that bane of primary legislation, the list, which I accept can land us in trouble if we are not very careful. With my thanks to him, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
