Commons Bill [HL]

Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].
I am grateful to the noble Lord, Lord Livsey, who is quite right. Returning to the issue of bracken and Lord Kilbracken, one of the problems is that there is now so much bracken around that quite often a visitor walking across common land will think an animal is abandoned or in the wrong place. It is quite an easy mistake to make. I should be grateful to hear from the Minister on that point. I shall read it carefully. On Question, amendment agreed to. [Amendment No. 184 not moved.] Clause 32, as amended, agreed to. Clause 33 [Rules: supplementary]:
