Charities Bill [HL]

Proceeding contribution from Lord Phillips of Sudbury (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 12 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bills on Charities Bill [HL].
My Lords, I am grateful to the noble Lord for his response to my amendment. I did not agree with a passage at the end of it, because my amendment is not about converting from a charity to a CASC, as he calls it, but the reverse. I shall read what he says and, if I still think he is wrong, we shall have to deal with the matter at Third Reading. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
