I thank my noble friend for that very helpful clarification of the position, and also the noble Lord, Lord Lester, for his intervention explaining the position in much more detail than I could. I shall read with a great deal of interest the points that have been made. It may well be that the amendment is not necessary. I also understand my noble friend’s problem with lists; I started by saying that this was not the whole list. Maybe she is right about that. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
