The noble Lord, Lord Bassam, and I have often disagreed across the Chamber, and I suspect that that may go on for some time yet. I entirely agree that the commission’s job is to regulate; I do not dissent from that by one jot. I am trying to ensure that the matters are handled as fairly as possible. I will read with care what the Minister has said, but I reserve my right to come back at the next stage. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment.
