Business of the House

Is the hon. Gentleman referring to the Members Estimate Committee, the House of Commons Commission or the Advisory Panel on Members’ Allowances? ...I am not aware of a formal proposal from the Advisory Panel on Members’ Allowances that it should be made a Committee of the House rather than being advisory to the Speaker, but if it did make such a proposal, it would no doubt be considered by the House and above all by the Speaker.
