DRAFT STATUTORY INSTRUMENTS ON NUCLEAR JUSTIFICATION

That this House notes the recommendations of the Tenth Report of the House of Lords Merits of Statutory Instruments Committee, published on 5 November, in respect of the draft Justification Decision (Generation of Electricity by the EPR Nuclear Reactor) Regulations 2010 and the draft Justification Decision (Generation of Electricity by the AP1000 Nuclear Reactor) Regulations 2010, a copy of each respectively being laid before this House on 18 October; disagrees with the draft instruments; and therefore calls on the Government to withdraw both instruments.
